why is it so easy for the Townsfolk to win on complete accident??? If the town is executing every single day, even if they have zero reasoning and every single execution is a random guess, they still have around a 50% chance of winning. I proved this by simulating 50 games of Trouble Brewing on clocktower.online and rolled a die to determine who was executed and who the imp decided to kill, and out of those 50 games, Good won 24/50. It seems to me that in a game about using deduction and piecing together strings of potentially faulty information to find a culprit, the good team having a coinflip chance of winning when they say "fuckall" and don't use any information is a HUGE design flaw. Somebody please explain to me why I'm wrong and what I'm missing.

When I look at the clocktower.online night order, it says, specifically, that the Poisoner's poison lasts until the Poisoners next "turn" in the night order the following night (ie; the latter option I mentioned previously). However, rules written as literally as possible on the token itself, I can't see why this would be the case since the Poisoner's ability states "they are poisoned tonight and tomorrow day", which wouldn't include the beginning of the next night (before the Poisoner goes again).

Here's my first attempt at a custom script. I love a carnival setting for horror and horror adjacent media so I wanted to make a script with characters that would feel right at home in one. There's elements of drunkenness and poisoning to trigger the Acrobats ability and madness to play with the Mutant and Pixie, which I hope lends to a fun playing experience. I haven't gotten to playtest this yet and I'm honestly not sure if it's even balanced, so I'm open to feedback and suggestions. I know the Organ Grinder would fit very well into the theme but I don't have the official app and wanted to keep it fully playable with clocktower.online. If you like, you could replace a minion with the Organ Grinder, or just add them onto the script

yeah, most i can gather is about 5-6, which is fine for "teensyville" games, but not full ones -- and so i'd rather just play online with https://clocktower.online/ and discord voice chat rather than get the physical game.

Using clocktower.online is free. It has the scripts that are included with the game and is compatible with the official script builder, allowing you to make your own scripts.
