refinedstorage VS CraftTweaker

RS uses some mid tier loot too, but not quite as much of it. You can get away with just a controller, a grid, some cables, and external storage (that's the name of the dongle you point at a chest or a drawer controller). https://refinedmods.com/refined-storage/ to get started. RS is simpler to use and is a little cheaper in VH than AE2.

They seem to be pretty actively looking into improvements in regards to the JEI integrations, you can see the discussions in their Git here: https://github.com/refinedmods/refinedstorage/issues/3406

Crafttweaker does have a method in IEntityLiving to setDropChance but this is currently missing a second float arg so will not work. I have opened an issue for this here and when fixed you will be able to use that method.
