Is react-native-unity-view still a good package?

Is react-native-unity-view still a good package?
There are a few more recent forks of react-native-unity-view, which fix compatibility for newer Unity versions and also a new one called react-native-unity-play. IIRC one of the biggest issues with the original one was, that you couldn't quit the Unity player after you're done using it and it would keep taking up memory.
