Suggestions for first-time React Native app
Hey all. I'm looking for suggestions to most expeditiously create a new app. I did some research on different cross-platform options and landed on React Native. I was hoping there would be a strong boilerplate kit to get me rolling. The best thing I've found so far is: https://github.com/obytes/react-native-template-obytes. Is using this template a good place to start?

Advanced React Native courses?
It always hard to find advanced courses, most of courses out there is for beginners. My trick was to keep an eye on open source project and templates in the ecosystems. You will be surprised on how much you can learn from other people code directly, well at least work for me π take a look at this open source template we worked on : https://github.com/obytes/react-native-template-obytes

Guide to me for my project.
You'll learn lot more without Expo. It makes things lot easier/faster but will give you problems later. I recommend you to start with cli, and if you want to avoid tedious tasks of setting up things, go ahead with Ignite or another boilerplate that has already all the basic libraries set up (react navigation, state, UI, etc.) so you just can begin with your project logic/code https://github.com/infinitered/ignite

Ask HN: Best courses to learn React Native for a back end dev
I recently picked up react native, though I had a good amount of experience with React already and much of it is similar. Except for working with the file system and tooling.
One good boilerplate Iβd recommend having a look at is https://github.com/infinitered/ignite not a course but possibly a good resource to learn from.
