You just didn't search hard enough. Try reanimated carousel.

https://github.com/dohooo/react-native-reanimated-carousel is the best solution right now: active development, implemented using Reanimated and easy to use. Unfortunately FlatList doesn't work for this case.

An alternative which I do recommend is https://github.com/dohooo/react-native-reanimated-carousel which is frequently updated and works on Android, iOS and web

I have a component built using React Native Carousel and I'm attempting to add some data to the beginning of the array however the component flashes when doing so. I'm attempting to use React Native Freeze however it does not have the desired effect.
