To people who have tons of shell scripts and aliases, how do you organize/categorize them?
Aliases and functions that I often use go into my ~/.bashrc. This is intentionally monolithic as it allows me to bootstrap my environment in a single hit, without having to potentially sit through months of change control reviews with a customer just to get approval to use something like git or stow etc. I will almost always be allowed to scp ~/.bashrc remotehost:

Is it possible to define a function on a condition in bash?
Go nuts. Having a scan through it now, it looks like it's time for a cleanout. A few functions there that I haven't used in a while, I'll evict them to gists just in case I need them again :)
