- Having a hard time trying to get SondeMonitor to work. Any idea on why it wont decode when it has signal?
- TIL twice every day at the same time almost 900 weather balloons are released across the world that collect the data used for forecasting the weather.
- What is this signal? Heard on 403.5MHz.

Tracking Weather Balloons with SDR
Cool stuff. I've watch them launch balloons near Oakland Airport. It's automated now. I've tracked the balloons using https://github.com/projecthorus/radiosonde_auto_rx and recovered the transmitter ( https://github.com/bazjo/RS41_Hardware ). It has an ARM chip, GPS rx & VHF tx.
