Migrating server from Paper to Fabric
Have a look at this list. It's got a ton of useful server-side mods which you can use on your server.

SpongeForge, Magma, Arclight, or nothing?
To be honest, the natural path for those that come from Bukkit and derivates for the future is to either switch to datapacks, migrate altogether to Bedrock (that already have interesting advances on its addon/pack system) or switch to Fabric server-only mods - There is a lot of possibilities already and there is also Polymer project that aims to "convert" some classic mods to server-side-only, so at the end maybe OP should look at it all and forget the Sponge thing.

Plugin alternatives on Fabric?
This seems like a decent shop mod, for a larger list of mods you can look here. Another shop mod I found was https://modrinth.com/mod/diamond-economy

Best Performance for a Fabric SMP Server
Once you have your server OS installed, look through the performance section of Quilt Serverside Mods (even though it says Quilt all the mods are Fabric compatible). Also make sure to set sync-chunk-writes to false in your server.properties.

What are the server optimizations/mods for a fabric 1.19.x server? Also which Server Cpu will be ideal?
I have been using this list to find some optimization mods but some mods in the performance sections seems to break the game (eg - Very Many Players ).

Server side Fabric setup?
Here’s a good resource for server-side mods, some of them are for quilt but quite a few are fabric mods (originally the list was only fabric mods, also quilt is a fork of fabric, so if you wanted to give it a go, it has most of the same benefits fabric does)

Modpack Server hosting with plugins
If you want to run Bukkit plugins with Forge, there's a few options. Mhoist, Magma and Arclight all achieve the same goal of running Bukkit plugins with Forge. Mhoist and Magma have both existed longer than Arclight, however Arclight uses mixins, which can improve compatibility.

Loader for Mods & Plugins
https://mohistmc.com/ This one can load both forge mods and spigot plugins at the same time. But keep in mind once there is forge mods in your server, your server's direction will and should be focus on the mods instead of the plugins. So far EssentialsX-type of "tool chain" "server management" plugins can install just fine. Plugins that mess around the the base game mechanics like item adders and slimefun are likely to give unexpected behaviors.

Is there a way to manage individual players' access to chests and interactables?

How can I use CoreProtect with Forge.
I know that CoreProtect is a Spigot plugin, and that forge is a different beast entirely. But I've looked into Mohist (https://github.com/MohistMC/Mohist) and it looks like it has what I need, though not really any support for 1.19 quite yet.

Paper, Fabric, Magma, or Other?
Looking in to MohistMC but is also out of date.

Need help switching to Mods from Plugins. What are the best alternatives for my server?
Instead of fully switching to MOD server, you could try using Magma, Sponge, or Mohist, if you have any further questions, feel free to reply to this message or DM me.

net.minecraft.world.WorldServer@(random key)
The reason the EssentialsX devs found out about this dangeous behaviour was them or someone else manually going through the code, something few actually do. A lot of people simply take ”open source” as a synonym for safe, while some take the effort to go through the code and identify sus things like this commit.
