If you want any already curated list, my Quakestarter package has menus for installing highly-rated Quaddicted stuff, broken down by "era" of release. But it's for Windows, so, hmm. If you want to peek at what those menus are installing without actually running it, you could look at the batch scripts here (not the ones that begin with an underscore).

How is one line or one additional and simple line tedious? C:\> ffmpeg.exe -i video.mp4 '%05d.png' && gifski.exe *.png --fps 30 --output video.gif && del *.png I'm sure this can be wrapped in CLI/powershell script and sure there are batch scripts for it such as this one.
