Can't take credit for it. :) They from a curated collection called Chromotome.

Procedural Generated 8-bit Monsters
As stated above, I "hand picked" selected palettes that I thought looked good from the chromotome project (the list can been seen in the code). I was mostly going for a kind of "Godzilla poster", "Saturday morning cartoon" or "80s anime" look.
