pwnagotchi VS nexmon

Merged and corrcted in jan could try that or as mentioned in another comment w solved this a while back in the forums remember to run the demo on your unit to verify what drivers it needs etc but it's been solved long ago https://github.com/evilsocket/pwnagotchi/issues/1134

yeah cause when you enable pwnagotchi to use pwngrid all you actually did was tell pwnagotchi to use api/pwnagotchi.ai which is down so your pwnagotchi will now try to connect to the internet, then it will try to send data to the API at pwnagotchi.ai and that API has been removed from the site. this is like telling the babysitter to call grandma but grandmas phone got cut off after a bad storm you can dial the number all day the wire to the house got cut there's no way for you to connect that way right now...

ok so all the Drivers for all the supported boards are added to the lib folder during build so if you add that stuff to the repo you download before you build it into an image. then adjust the display.py file to have a call back for your new drivers then you can set config to call up your screens drivers. After that you may need to adjust voice.py in order for screen element to display correctly based on your eink resolution.

Use the same config from pwnagotchi.ai but use this Image

I was able to get pwnagotchi to work on the pizerow2 with AI mode. I basically used DrSchottky's image, then ran https://github.com/isthisausername2/pwnagotchi_rpi_zero_2_fix, then compiled the nexmon drivers on the device (https://github.com/seemoo-lab/nexmon).

Now the default drivers for the Zero 2W wifi chip do not support monitor mode, but we can patch them with Nexmon thanks to the efforts of DrSchottky who added support for the pi zero 2w just days ago! His pull request was merged so we can clone the latest version of nexmon and install. So I did.... https://github.com/seemoo-lab/nexmon

I believe support has been merged into nexmon though - So there's hope for proper support for pwnagotchi to land soon?

I used Nexmon to get mine to work.

so the major reason for the use of raspberry pi is support for seemoo labs(check them out because for wireless security research they do super interesting stuff) nexmon platform. nexmon is a binary firmware patching platform that is aimed at providing patches to allow mobile radio chips to do things the stock firmware does not support, ie it is named for providing monitor mode on a nexus phone.
