Strapi on Heroku - how many dynos?
I'm getting conservatively 800 req/sec on Heroku Standard-1x for my Strapi instance this is on mini postgres with the redis LCU cache, benchmarks here https://123dyno.com/blog/cpu-autoscaling-on-heroku-with-123-dyno. I'd highly recommend installing the redis cache if you haven't looked into it, have my setup in a button here if you want to check out the plugin setup https://github.com/123-Dyno/publishing-strapiv4-heroku. It jumps occasionally when cache clears but for the most part is fine.

where to host strapi or good alternative
Recently released a button to deploy Strapi to Heroku if you need a reference for deploying there. Cheapest plan is somewhere between $13-$20ish for your traffic needs, really should not be costing you 110. Migrating over will probably take some work but won't require too much maintenance when setup.

Sharing a scalable one-click Strapi deploy for Heroku
I'm posting a Heroku deploy button for Strapi that I'm maintaining here https://github.com/123-Dyno/publishing-strapiv4-heroku it comes prepackaged with a production scalable setup minus the keys with built in links to Heroku add-ons so it can be setup in less than 10 minutes.

Proton and Standard Notes are joining forces
Diversifying a lot. Next acquisition will be Ghost(https://ghost.org/) I bet. Similar DNA, fits in the portfolio (If they are trying to match the feature set of Google) and have no VC backing.

Why I Care Deeply About Web Accessibility And You Should Too
For example, if you are in a country where you can accept Stripe and are publishing a newsletter through, Substack or using the Ghost platform, enabling the ability to accept payments is a few clicks away. For those who cannot accept payment with Stripe, well, you are up the creek without a paddle. I do not know about you, but I see that as a barrier to access.

Tea.xyz causes a flood of spam pull requests to open source projects
This response from one of the Tea developers seems disingenuous https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/pull/19743#issuecomment-19...
How could they not have predicted this outcome?

Self-hosting Ghost with Docker and PlanetScale
PlanetScale and Ghost were previously incompatible due to differences in their support for foreign key constraints. With PlanetScale now supporting foreign key constraints, a seamless collaboration between the two is achievable. Nonetheless, there remain minor incompatibilities that require resolution.
