Protractor VS flex-layout

Cypress is a next-generation front-end Automation testing tool built for modern web applications. It is a JavaScript-based end-to-end testing framework and is known for faster test execution as compared with other testing tools (like Selenium or Protractor).

Protractor has been deprecated for a while on the Angular CLI side and given Nx has had Cypress support for a while it has never been a popular choice. Starting with this release we're deprecating the generator for setting up Protractor and we're planning on removing support entirely in Nx v15.

In recent releases, the Angular CLI kept reducing its feature set, mainly due to tools such as Protractor as well as TSLint being deprecated. As a result, starting with Angular 14, the Angular CLI provides the following when generating a new application:

In April, the Angular team has announced plans to end the support of Protractor at the end of 2022.

If you want the image to change size before and/or after certain breakpoints, I would look into Angulars Flex layout. And no, you don't need to define your own breakpoints. Flex Layout has predefined breakpoints.

Perhaps you can find it interesting the Swagger-UI, created automatically by the SmallRye OpenAPI, that has the possibility of doing one Authentication to test the endpoints protected by JWT.

I was wondering if the anyone observed that the Angular Flex Layout package makes their app perform slower compared to using a Flex css library like Tailwind?

That said, in the angular-layout repo's README there's a link to the repository's Wiki, just one bulletpoint above the link to the examples. Below the link to the examples you'll also find the link to the application's source code the demo app is built with - although for some reason the link is to the app's module file and not the app root.

Google css grid layouts. Your layout is a classic and had tons of examples online. If you want to use angular to modify your grid or flex box layouts, look at https://github.com/angular/flex-layout/wiki.
