Proot-distro has older Fedora
I don't check the current versions of distributions every day. So if someone find that new release is available, an issue can be opened at https://github.com/termux/proot-distro/issues.

[UPDATE] Official VSCode Server (Setup & Tips)
VSCode CLI has a package built for Alpine Linux. Use proot-distro or (shameless plug) distroot (a startup script) to install Alpine Linux in Termux.

mizOS - A Linux distribution I've been working on for over 10 months now. Rate the neofetch.

Termux is an Android terminal emulator and Linux environment app
Folks who want a more traditional linux environment and libraries then what termux comes with might find proot-distro[1] to meet their needs. Basically it allows running an actual arm linux distro in a pseudo container created by (ab)using the ptrace syscall to emulate root privileges. This has a fairly big performance impact, but it works if you want to run arbitrary arm linix binaries.

How to create a new user in proot-distro alpine in termux
I just installed proot-distro alpine and logged in with the said command. I want to add a user in it. I read proot-distro help in the termux but it mentions about how to log in as a specific user not about how to add a user. I have also checked termux wiki which says to add user useradd -U -m username but this also gave error. so does any one know how to add a user name in it. for example "john" is the user name i want to add so how do i do that?

SuperTuxKart with Termux-X11 and VirGL graphics acceleration
https://github.com/termux/proot-distro - Installing base Ubuntu proot-distro (without GUI), it is a pretty straightforward process so I just used the original documentation
- Run x86 (32-Bit) & x86_64 (64-Bit) Windows Apps in a Proot Environment with Box86, Box64, and Wine 7.2.2 on Aarch64 version of Ubuntu 22.04.

Can i gain root access via termux on android?
It is a clickbait. The "root" permission in this video is called proot which is to install a Linux container in Termux. The programs runs in container would think they are running in a real Linux environment.

Text UIs != Terminal UIs
I mean mainly things like this:
https://github.com/aristocratos/btop/blob/main/Img/alt.png
Great work, it looks amazing! But what's the point of going through all the pain of rendering graphs in text? At that point, give me an actual graph. The code will be less messy and the information display will be better.

Command line tools I always install on Ubuntu servers
Btop is even more advanced than htop. It is almost like a GUI in terminal, and it feels like a dashboard of an airplane. I like it, but when I want to see what processes are using most of my resources, it is usually htop that comes to my mind and not btop, since btop shows more by default than I usually want. For more information see https://github.com/aristocratos/btop.

What's the appeal of the TUI programs?
btop blows me away every time I use it.

20 Awesome Command Line Tools for the Mac!
Htop is good, but these days I prefer using Btop.

Harlequin.sh DuckDB IDE for your terminal
I love this and will definitely try it out! Although I admit I'm a little puzzled when people simultaneously want to do a TUI but also design things so there is generous (excessive, actually) whitespace around everything to create the illusion of "minimalism" or "comfort".
It's a TUI! It should be buzzing with numbers, packed with information, sparing with space and using every pixel possible. btop[1] is a great example imo — one of the best.

Wifi Adapter not working
I am using Arco Linux (Arch Based) and today my machine was working as normal, but then I lost Wifi connection. I had btop opened in another monitor and when o lost connection, it crashed. Don't know what it means. This has happened before, but before I would just restart and everything would work fine again, but now, the OS doesn't show me anything Wifi related. When it happens, restarting shows are logs that normaly don't appear (can't show them here because they are now showing up anymore) and it takes a long time to restart, if it even restarts, sometimes I have to press down the power button (it's that bad). My mother is TUF GAMING X670E-PLUS WIFI, the Wifi adapter is the one that comes with the motherboard. I am on the Linux kernel 6.4.2 (I think), I updated the system this morning. On Windows (where I am writing this from), I don't have this problem.
