Pode & Pode.Web - Powershell webserver and frontend toolset
Just thought I'd share this incredibly rich tool here, a powershell webserver + frontend toolset that let me spin up a table and form over the top of AD in like, 15 minutes.

Would I best to stick to just Powershell, or would learning C# not hurt?
Before reinventing the wheel (though good to learn!), consider Pode.Web which is a free open source product built on PowerShell that'll let you run scripts: https://github.com/Badgerati/Pode.Web

How to execute a powershell script from a webpage?
I would highly recommend Pode or Pode.Web. It is amazing and open source! You can secure it and create a login page and auth against AzureAD, AD, OAUTH, etc. To illustrate how cool this is they give an example on the Pode.Web github page to show the top 10 processes running in ~10 lines of powershell code and you have a fully running web app which you can convert into a windows service if you'd like. I highly recommend it!

Options on Linux for GUI with PowerShell?
You can build simple web dashboards with Pode.Web and it supports Linux.

You can also look at Pode. Web for a free tool.

Is there any simple PowerShell web server available?
As others on here have also pointed out, Pode is a PowerShell web server that lets you setup REST API via routes, or web pages using templates (or Pode.Web).

Any interest in a Webserver Module (PSWebServer)?
There's also the Pode and Pode.Web modules available :)
-
Is anyone using Pode web framework?
You'll probably be glad to hear I've started work on an extension module for Pode which does the frontend for you: Pode.Web!
What are some alternatives?
When comparing powershell-universal and Pode.Web you can also consider the following projects:
Pode - Pode is a Cross-Platform PowerShell web framework for creating REST APIs, Web Sites, and TCP/SMTP servers
Polaris - A cross-platform, minimalist web framework for PowerShell
nishang - Nishang - Offensive PowerShell for red team, penetration testing and offensive security.
