Issues with a yellow line on top of Nerd Fonts symbols on polybar.
I had recently run into a problem where a thin yellow line (and blue line on other symbols) was being drawn on top of a symbol (the symbol is the rounded half-circle from the aur package Nerd-Fonts-Complete 2.0.0-1), the line appears when it is being drawn on polybar on i3-wm and it's length varies when restarting the wm. I've tried installing the fonts directly from Powerline Extra Fonts, I've tried both the normal and the patched version and the problem persists with both. I use an old version of Nerd-Fonts-Complete for better compatibility with the other symbols. I've read this issue with a person having a similar issue in vim, I hadn't been able to glean much information though. This issue doesn't happen on my desktop computer, only happens on my T480s.

Patched font for filled rounded corners
The most similar thing I could find by now are the rounded glyphs of powerline-extra-symbols, but those have two corners rounded of.
-
peace was never an option
its included in p10k, if you install that you can get them in your shell, or see the powerline-extra repo for the symbols. I highly recommend going witb p10k tho, way easier to maintain

how to make custom boxes?
Everything on the bar is text (except for the tray and border), so the config probably uses powerline symbols in the modules to achieve this effect.

Polybar Modules with rounded corners?
You can't get true rounded corners for it, but you can get something similar using powerline icons: https://github.com/ryanoasis/powerline-extra-symbols

how do i achieve this?
I think people use powerline symbols for this: https://github.com/ryanoasis/powerline-extra-symbols

WiFi and Ethernet disconnecting on Asus X670E-E (AX210 / I225-V)
I did try other kernels and what worked with me is to basically create a custom arch install. There seems to be a specific kernel/driver combination that works well with the WiFi/Ethernet drivers on my board and I can't just force some wifi drivers on the current kernel (I think 81.ucode is the latest one for the wifi but its using a version lower than that which I've already tested by force loading). For now I'm very much thankful that you can basically study and copy Archcraft's code/packages/configs (and my backups as well) and set it up on my custom arch install though it did take a few hours but I probably managed to restore 90% of my previous setup as everything is already on github. As a bonus, I did use u/adi1090x polybar-themes as well (https://github.com/adi1090x/polybar-themes) and study to integrate that pywal effect and basically add and integrate that on top of the default themes. But its just too cumbersome to edit one by one rather than having an already available distro so I'm still hoping for a permanent fix if any of you guys have an idea.

If you want to replace some components, you could get polybar instead of the XFCE panel and rofi as the app launcher. Aditya Shakya (/u/adi1090x) has great collections of themes for polybar and rofi.

Polybar, Powermenu
I am currently using Debian 11 with openbox and my polybar powermenu isn't fully working shutdown, and restart are the only two that are working logout and sleep are not working and the polybar config is weird I try to edit the config and it just doesn't work I've been trying to make the polybar be on top of my screen but it just stays on the bottom. I am currently using an already made polybar called colorblocks https://github.com/adi1090x/polybar-themes and I want to get rid of some modules as well.
