Rad Basic 100% compatible with your Visual Basic 6 projects
Adding all the words to the top of each file[0] and saving every file resolved it for me. Just need to pay attention to not change the casing when modifing/adding code.

Im pretty sure pywin32 allows you to do this in python. murgee is great for creating routines, like the key presses you descripted.
