How to install polybar-pulseaudio-control
I'm lacking in scripts and bash. So I don't know how to load this bash script: https://github.com/marioortizmanero/polybar-pulseaudio-control << Download the bash script from this repository, or extract it from the latest release, and put it somewhere in your $PATH. >> I didn't understand what exactly say it. I tried to run pulseaudio-control.bash but I faced << No action specified. Run pulseaudio-control.bash help for more information. >>. I need a more information about this subject. Also can you advise any source about it?

The pulseaudio-control module now also supports microphones!
I'm the creator of the pulseaudio-control module for polybar. We recently released the v3.0.0 version, which adds support for sources (i.e., microphones). Thanks to this, you'll also be able to switch between microphones, mute them or control their volume, directly from your status bar.

Is there a way to control volume per application like pavucontrol?
Edit: I solved it by using this script

Maybe this is what you are looking for

Volume adjustment is set to 5 but this is happening. How to fix it?
Now that I saw its last build is from 2017, using pavucontrol seems better in any way. I will try this one.

How to Configure Both Wired and Wireless Networks? How to Show Built-in, Wired, and Bluetooth Pulseaudio?
For pulseaudio, there's a built-in module as well. You can see that on the polybar wiki. I use this instead: https://github.com/marioortizmanero/polybar-pulseaudio-control Works like a charm. Does mutes and everything and is fine with bluetooth devices.

I just made this module to easily control PulseEffects, as the creator of polybar-pulseaudio-control.

Suggestion: Switch out MPD for Spotify Controller
I think it would be better if there was this https://github.com/PrayagS/polybar-spotify instead of the MPD player
- is there a way to remove the music that is "preincluded" and make it pick up spotify
- Almost done with my perfect bspwm polybar setup

Can't get IPC hook to work
Hi there, I'm trying to get this script running for my polybar. Almost everything works, clicking does what it's supposed to do and it displays mostly correctly, the only issue is that the play icon does not change to a pause icon when clicked (the command gets executed though, music will stop playing and start playing again when clicked). I put enable-ipc = true in my bars config and also tried to set both as initial in case it's some weird font issue, but both icons display fine (I was unsure because they are boxes in my editor, but they display fine in polybar). Any ideas on what else I could try? Here are my modules:
- Polybar Music Control hiding itself while not I'm not playing music

[i3] paperview is so nice n.n
Is that music module this (written by me)? If it is, I'm so glad to see more people using it xD
