Pock also. It allows one to put the Dock in the Touch bar along with pre-existing/ customized Touch bar items there.

Activity stats on the TouchBar, any chances?
So normally I uses Pock for customising my TouchBar, having like a scrolling dock, a media player and fixed volume/brightness buttons. However, it would be really cool if there would be a way to show the activity stats (CPU, Fan usage etc..) on the TouchBar, especially for gaming in full screen! Anyone knows a way to do it? I think maybe through Better Touch Tool, but I have no idea how

Definitely not unknown no new, but if you have a Touch Bar Pock has been game changer for me

What are some cool touchbar apps/tips someone should know?
Pock, MTMR are the best if you just wanna customize it to your preference. There's also Muse if you want a music player.

How far will the M2 Air go?
I haven't personally run into any issues. I use an app called Pock to customize the bar.

Are there any open source Touch Bar apps/games that exist? Everything I've seen online is very outdated. I looked through this - https://github.com/redsnapper8t8/awesome-touch-bar-apps - but the builds are on older Xcode versions. I am planning to make a touchbar game for newer MacBooks and the future models and would love some help!
