I myself prescribe to the teachings of the IronicBadger(Alex Kretzshmar) from the Self-Hosted podcast and (when I get one setup) intend to follow the guides on his site https://perfectmediaserver.com and use mergerfs to turn a JBOD to a single filesystem and use SnapRAID for redundancy.

It's supposed to be a "Perfect Media Server"/NAS/Router/Smart Home Hub/Hypervisor in a Small Form Factor footprint. I want to combine as many appliances as possible into one. Single point of failure is okay, I use the network alone, only I will suffer if any of the services (including Internet) goes down ;). I value less power consumption (0,35€/kWh...) over redundancy currently.

Are there any good tutorials? I’ve read the Perfect Media Server (PMS) series but it’s not that thorough.

Ah i mis-interpreted and thought you were in germany. Don't know wether Deezer is available in your market. "Extracting" from Deezer is not an official deezer feature, its rather "ripping" flacs from their API (against Deezer's TOS of course). I'm using saltbox.dev which pull this image.

Deemix is good for Deezer songs, which can easily be converted from Spotify. However, there is Spotify integration built in, although I don't know how to get it working.

spotify playlist -> deemix docker -> folders -> emby

you can also try to just use an older image (see https://gitlab.com/Bockiii/deemix-docker/container_registry/1143119 for tags) but the last version upgrade was 3 months ago, so I assume its your custom swag config that is the problem.

Most spotify downloader projects can ingest a spotify playlist and lookup the songs on other platforms (download the songs from deezer or youtube). For that i can recommend "deemix" https://gitlab.com/Bockiii/deemix-docker

In order to use this with the docker image, you only need to add an environment variable to your call ( see the Readme file in the repo).

Hey guys, it worked! I had a look at the logs and found out it this issue is what was happening. It's weird because the OS is up to date.
