Why does runelite allow players to upload their own plugins?
I mean, that's already how it works, most of the plugins they use will be unofficial & not available on the plugin hub. See: https://runelite.net/plugin-hub/

Logged in this morning to find my game looking like the official client. Tried finding it in the plugins on Runelite 'til I gave up and checked the site https://runelite.net/plugin-hub/ and it's not there either. Any news/updates or is this just me?

GOTR plugin changes suck.
I found the guy who manages (idk if manages is the right word) that plugin in the runelite discord. I messaged him about it should have a toggle soon. I guess we have to wait for approval of the changes https://github.com/runelite/plugin-hub/pull/3962

Gaming Idea
Chat Translator plugin along with general runelite plugin example are hosted on github could be used as a reference to build the ideal plugin at the same time overcome shortcomings of refrenced plugin. Im talking about Translating all of the game quests to desired language. Looking up words in dictionary. Ability to save words you encounter as a anki format. Also noted words could exported to chrome plugin for learning it that way.
What are some alternatives?
