Your users will also lose their watch status of media. So you may want to look into transferring that over too. You can look into plex-db-sync

Moving Play History to a Different Home Account
Cetteup created a wonderful tool (https://github.com/cetteup/transfer-plex-user-viewstate) that did most of the work for me. It allows you to move all plays, play progress, and ratings from one account to another(I highly recommend using this instead of the "official" way which involves SQLite). However, this didn't get everything. For some reason, the "Play History" section in the dashboard still shows a ton of plays while the actual play history shows nothing. https://imgur.com/a/yR8QeeL.
