ECS+Fargate - how to detect/alert when a container crashes
Calling the ECS API in my lambda (same approach as this open-source project: https://github.com/wellcomecollection/platform-infrastructure/blob/main/monitoring/slack_alerts/ecs_tasks_cant_start_alert/src/ecs_tasks_cant_start_alert.py) to look for "tasks failed to start" messages. And I only send a slack message if that message exists (only happens after 10 failed retries).
