How to make apply/make a 'parallax mapping' technique? "Height map" without geometry...?
Forgive me, I'm happy reading the source code of A-Frame and have slowly been getting into Three here and there as needed. I have a project for a client where their artist has made a request for an effect I've seen before, e.g. here, but I am not sure how to replicate. I found a reference to this library, but the brief readme is literally in Japanese, and while there's some kind of discussion in English in the issues, it's hard to follow for me as someone who knows the bare minimum (if even that) about how shaders really work (I'm more of a JS guy).
