Saving ( .save() ) & .compose!
1) The image returned by lets say punks[3100] is of type Pixelart::Image under the hood and here's the (open source) code https://github.com/rubycoco/pixel/blob/master/pixelart/lib/pixelart/image.rb - it's in the pixelart library / gem (search for save in the image.rb file).
