They can fake that easily. Snap is in no way a guarantee the image was done live. Took me 5 seconds on google to find an open source project that does just that https://github.com/adriangl/pict2cam

Also found this app recently...it’s named Pict2Cam which helps feed fake data to other apps requesting for camera permission.

A lot of the code logic is handled in the UI part (Fragments/Activities) directly https://github.com/Spikeysanju/Expenso/blob/master/app/src/main/java/dev/spikeysanju/expensetracker/view/about/AboutFragment.kt#L32 . Views should only display the data and relay events back to the ViewModel.
