There's an iperf opkg pkg, or is it just netperf (which works with fluent)?

How can I get started with embedded systems that isn't Arduino?
There is an official sdk in C and C++ as well as a really thorough sdk guide, and a separate "getting started" guide which shows you how to upload files using command line and vs code.

Getting blink example to work on Pico W on Arch Linux
Arch is using Gcc 13.0.1 and there's a bug fix that I had to manually apply so that uint16_t could be resolve. See https://github.com/raspberrypi/pico-sdk/pull/1318/files.

How can I access the Pico W's LED with the rp-hal crate?
the LED of the W is hooked to the wireless chip. in the c sdk, the function to tell the chip to set it's gpio pin(s) is: cyw43_arch_gpio_put(CYW43_WL_GPIO_LED_PIN, 1); where CYW43_WL_GPIO_LED_PIN is the macro to the LED. This looks great.
I have been hoping to make a Pico into a little 8-bit-micro style computer, but there’s lots to learn first!
I bought Pimoroni’s VGA demo board[0], which provides a readymade version of the VGA implementation “Hardware Design with RP2040.”
There are a few emulators that I think should work with that:

pico with arduino c++ pS2Keyboard library?
I saw your post while trying to implement ps/2 handling on my Pico VIC-20 emulator ( https://github.com/jfoucher/picovic ) and I managed to get it working just today. The relevant code is here : https://github.com/jfoucher/picovic/tree/feature/c-emulator/ps2 and also some of it in main.c
