Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Corne, but with a wider thumb cluster and stronger column stagger?
There are a few things that are close: * The Cantor/Piantor: more aggressive stagger and slightly changed thumb cluster. * The Swept Corne: essentially a big sweep. * The Hillside 46/48: This comes in many forms which are very similar to what you are looking for. Essentially an extra aggressive stagger (and perhaps splayed) Corne with a bigger thumb cluster.

Minimal layouts (34/36 keys) : do you keep the same rows for the pinkie ?
I've been looking at the https://github.com/beekeeb/piantor

NKRO
Particularly does the Piantor keyboard https://github.com/beekeeb/piantor supports NKRO ?

a second half stops working
I have a piantor (https://github.com/beekeeb/piantor 2x rpi pico WeAct, halves connected by a TTRS cable, vial firmware for WeAct) keyboard built by myself (I soldered somethink like 10 years ago so I'm not an expert). It worked great but now the right half started to stop working. It happens after some idle time and happened once during usage. Diode is on on the broken half even when it does not work.

DIY Carrying Case for my Piantor
A fork of the Cantor which uses a Raspberry Pi Pico microcontroller (or other RP2040-compatible microcontroller). See its GitHub page.

Please share your Piantor keyboard keymap files.
Couldn't find anywhere to download keymap files for Piantor keyboard, and don't have enough determination to start from scratch designing myself. Could you please share some of your creations? Thanks. My Piantor is a RPI0 variant, if that matters.

Built a Piantor and am quite happy with the result! What do recommend next after learning better colemak typing :-) ?
No it is the default case, see beekeep GitHub https://github.com/beekeeb/piantor/tree/main/case

Piantor and Leeloo
Ah yeah sorry, the piantor is not wireless (i removed the trrs cable to get them closer together). I traded off the convenience of wireless for an easier unpacking job (no need to make sure everything is charged, flip the on/off switches etc.) Not sure if someone has tried making a wireless variant. The repo is https://github.com/beekeeb/piantor

PCB design and production for a 1-off?
If you decide to go down this rabbit hole (which is a totally doable thing, by the way, as the others have already noted), then you might want to look into Ergogen. To be fair, it won't save you from KiCAD, but it could make the journey a bit easier.

How to get a PCB designed for an Ergo Mech?
Contractual PSA: if you're willing to get your hands dirty, you could try Ergogen (tool, Discord). There might already be a pretty close starting point that you only need to modify a bit if you ask around. Alternatively, there might be people in the server who'd be willing to do a commission - some are fucking machines when it comes to curning out great designs one after the other...

Let's Design A Keyboard With Ergogen v4: A Beginner's Guide To Designing Custom Ergonomic Keyboard PCBs
Howdy y'all! 👋 Ergogen, the ergonomic keyboard layout generator app, recently hit v4! I've been enjoying using this tool for a while now, so I decided to collect everything I've learned into a series of step-by-step articles outlining the basics of Ergonomic keyboard PCB creation.

I made an ergogen based corne clone
Hey thanks! Ergogen made this entire project super approachable. Also thanks for being so quick to fix #86

I chased the endgame to the point where I designed and built my own custom split columnar staggered keeb - or Spleeb!
Doing more research I couldn't find anything that really fit what I was looking for. At this point I decided to build my own keyboard, from the design of the PCB to the 3D model of the chassis. I used Ergogen to get the layout and outline of the plate, KiCad for the PCB, Fusion 360 for the chassis, and QMK for the firmware. All in all it took me probably 2 to 3 months of work in my spare time (I had next to no "Electronic Engineering" experience and had hardly used CAD before) from the idea to having the thing to type on. I learned a lot, and already have a list of things I wish I had done differently for V2 😅.

What is the cheapest split ergo with a decent thumb cluster ?
If you can't find one you like you can also design your own. I don't advice for your first build though. Perhaps your second. Ergogen and Kicad are vital tools for this. https://ergogen.xyz/

Looking for a low-profile split kb, compatible for german layouts
Another option would be designing the layout yourself with http://www.keyboard-layout-editor.com/ and https://kbplate.ai03.com/ or maybe https://ergogen.xyz/

im trying to make a split keyboard pcb please see of i got anything wrong in my schematic.
I tried to PCB design and it's a harsh learning curve without electronics knowledge. I'm trying to do mine with Ergogen
What are some alternatives?
cantor - Cantor keyboard, a 42 key diodeless split keyboard.
pteron36-split-keyboard - A 36 key variation of pteron-pcb from Kraken-Jokes, based on pteron keyboard from FSund. Feel free to contribute under GPL V3
crkbd - Corne keyboard, a split keyboard with 3x6 column staggered keys and 3 thumb keys.
keyseebee - KeySeeBee is a split ergo keyboard. It is only 2 PCB (so the name) with (almost) only SMD components on it. It's only a keyboard, no LED, no display, nothing more than keys and USB.
jorne - Jorne is an extended Corne keyboard with extra keys for brackets and international layouts
keyboard-layout-editor - Web application to enable the design & editing of keyboard layouts
TOTEM - TOTEM is a 38 keys column-staggered split keyboard. It meant to be used with a SEEED XIAO BLE or RP2040
ErgoWarp - Design Log and OpenSCAD code repo for Custom Split Keyboard
zmk - ZMK Firmware Repository
kad - Keyboard Automated Design (KAD) is a Golang library for designing mechanical keyboards
palac - Palac Ortholinear 5x6+1 split keyboard
