Just finished my portable studio rig
I'm running this image I made: https://github.com/sinedied/pi-midi-host that was inspired from other tutorials. No safe shutdown needed as the filesystem is locked as read-only, it can be unplugged anytime 😉

Just install normal Raspberry Pi OS and follow this Guide: https://github.com/mtoensing/RaspberryPiMinecraft You just have to do it for the current Minecraft Version released. Since Minecraft does require Java 16 or higher i believe install java like this: https://snapcraft.io/install/openjdk/raspbian I would recommend choosing a server directory on a seperate USB- Stick so the SD-Card on which your OS is installed doesnt get corrupted after some read-write action from the server: https://www.raspberrypi-spy.co.uk/2014/05/how-to-mount-a-usb-flash-disk-on-the-raspberry-pi/
