Semantic Zoom
I don't know the one you mention, but I believe https://github.com/SmilyOrg/photofield does something similar.

Anything you wish there was an open source solution for?
It won't cover you uses right now probably, but I'd be interested in how my photofield app fares on the 2tb dataset too. You can mount your photos as a read only volume, so it's low risk to try it out. I'm planning to add some of the features you mentioned eventually, but feel free to open feature requests if you are interested!

Best self-hosted solution for Network Photos so I can view them on the Apple TV?
Hey, I've tested my photofield app on an LG TV and while it was not the smoothest, but otherwise worked alright. I'd be interested if it works on Apple TV as well.

Photofield v0.5 released: Google Photos alternative now even faster and with 100% more demo
Added issue #34 for RAW file support. Do you happen to have some .CR2 samples you could share with me? I don't often shoot in RAW, so I'm interested in how you would expect it to work, is this something that is usually configurable as I presume RAWs can be processed in many ways? Or is it enough to have a "good enough" default just so that you know what file it is?

I need help finding a Photo self host that uses directory structure for albums and will serve full resolution images not thumbnails and can be access via android
Photofield does the "deep zoom" alright, but the rest of the package might be a little lackluster. Worth a shot tho.

Photo gallery for large collections
You could give Photofield a spin. It works best with (Synology Moments) pre-generated thumbnails currently, otherwise it might be a slow in rendering. I've used it for collections of up to 300k photos and once it's loaded it's not too bad.

An open-source alternative to QuickBooks
There's also Plain Text Accounting[1]. The biggest problem of all open source solutions, accountants' experience aside, is the lack of banking and taxes integration, especially outside of US, e.g. for Asian, South American, or African businesses. The most promising FOSS solution for SME I was able to find is Akaunting[2][3].

Yes. Exactly that. The only thing I could find until now is https://github.com/akaunting/akaunting. But Iām not sure if this is all included in the open source version
