Maybe some people did know about these bad Perl programming practices, but I did not, so I am sharing for fellow beginners
And some more subjective ones: * It seems mostly about converting from practices seen in very old code. like indirect object syntax and symbolic references. * It closes some sections with recommended modules rather than leading with them. * It does not lead with code and style references that are now part of the perl core documentation. * The github repo source for the page was updated last 8 years ago: https://github.com/shlomif/perl-begin/tree/master/lib/tutorials/bad-elements
