Need help with understanding requirements (pertaining to testing)
so for example, i've been working on an open source live chat system. - here are the tests for this livechat system: https://github.com/chase-moskal/xiome/blob/master/s/features/chat/chat.test.ts - each of these tests spools up an instance of our frontend chatModel, which is what other people would call a controller - each instance of the chatModel is provided direct access to the api object - each api object is created with a mock database (that mimics a real database), and mocks for any other externalities - our tests then interrogate the chatModel, which in turn calls the chat api services to do its job - the end result, is that we're somewhat effectively testing all of the chat system's business logic in a full-stack way — we're testing that the frontend is doing its job, and that it's working with the api to provide the user with the functionality they care about

What should I use to build a paid membership site?
i've been working really hard building an open source solution for exactly that problem. i'm still finishing up the stripe integration, but since i'm neck deep in it lately, i'd be happy to talk shop and share code with you. the project is called https://xiome.io/ and you can join my discord if you'd like to chat

What testing steps do you take before pushing a PR?(front-end)
if all this automated magic sounds overly fancy, it's really not: it's just a few github action scripts

Solo developer working on multiple projects and servers how to push to production/live server?
