Which cd where you very happy with?
my application has a github action called deploy-to-production.yaml which performs a rolling deployment via helm upgrade whenever i push a change to the production branch. so far, i'm a happy camper with this setup.

Need help with understanding requirements (pertaining to testing)
so for example, i've been working on an open source live chat system. - here are the tests for this livechat system: https://github.com/chase-moskal/xiome/blob/master/s/features/chat/chat.test.ts - each of these tests spools up an instance of our frontend chatModel, which is what other people would call a controller - each instance of the chatModel is provided direct access to the api object - each api object is created with a mock database (that mimics a real database), and mocks for any other externalities - our tests then interrogate the chatModel, which in turn calls the chat api services to do its job - the end result, is that we're somewhat effectively testing all of the chat system's business logic in a full-stack way — we're testing that the frontend is doing its job, and that it's working with the api to provide the user with the functionality they care about
