    Yeah you can just send tokens to the funding address of the project you want to fund (won't receive any matching funds) or just login with your ETH account. The new protocol does not run through github anymore. In order to get full match you will have to setup Gitcoin passport which collates a bunch of data points about your address from web3 activity along with whatever web2 social logins you want to link that attempts to score how likely it is you are a real human and not a bot. You need 21.75 points total from this list for full match. Of note I have nothing web2 linked to passport and have well over 21.75 points, but also participated in previous rounds which adds a significant amount of points.
