The details in the post are generally false - nowhere in this grabber (which is what was used to download the 70TB (or 56tb based on the tracker[0]) are admin credentials used to bypass ACLs. There were no ACLs on the video and picture files, so anyone could wget them without issue.

If you want to help with archiving, check out https://github.com/ArchiveTeam/warrior-dockerfile you can setup a container that will start working on whatever project the archive team needs help with. It will automatically grab tasks and start saving things to the larger project.

Sadly the archivewarrior docker is strongly outdated and thus projects do not run anymore and there are no plans to fix it. https://github.com/ArchiveTeam/warrior-dockerfile/issues/45#issuecomment-772118744
