DaVinci Resolve GPU Initialization Failed
ive been trying to get DaVinci Resolve running, at first it said the GPU is unsupported, which was fixed with this github manual but now i get the error in the title as seen in the image below.

AMD, there is no comparison. The only pain points with AMD is not having Cuda compatibility, and setting up OpenCL using the Pro drivers can be a pain for some but there is a script to assist with that on Github for software like Blender and Davinci Resolve.https://github.com/Diolinux/amd-opencl-pro-linux-resolve

Linux gaming hurdles as a beginner
I was able to get Davinci Resolve and Blender to recognize the Pro OpenCL drivers by using the script on this github. It does so in a way which does not disturb the GPU drivers from Mesa. https://github.com/Diolinux/amd-opencl-pro-linux-resolve I hope this helps

Idk but this script doesn't work without mesa-opencl-icd on ubuntu
