Yuzu ARM64 running on Nintendo Switch L4T Ubuntu
Running at anywhere from 10-20fps. Using official joycons as controllers (because of course why not?). CPU and GPU overclocked to 2.091GHz and 921Mhz respectively. There is more info at this github issue on how this came about: https://github.com/flathub/org.yuzu_emu.yuzu/issues/911

Confused about Fedora flatpak handling, can somebody explain?

Yuzu does not request the host filesystem.

Yuzu only showing two folders under my account? Where are the rest of them
Looks like you're using flatpak. I've never heard of a program called "Yuzu"; this is the only one with that name on flathub, so I'll assume that that's what you're using. According to the manifest file it doesn't have any access to your files by default, except via portals. And according to this bug report Yuzu does support portals, but the SDL2 version doesn't. So if you are using the SDL2 version, you could try using another one (I'm assuming that there is another one, otherwise that bug report doesn't make sense). Or you could try giving it direct access to your data. You can use flatseal for that.

Can anyone tell me why lrpcs 2 crashes on linux
I think LRPCS never worked on Linux, neither through Flatpak nor AppImage. I tested it around when the core was released and it's the same as now, the core just crashes. An issue was opened in the Flatpak repository, but it was closed without any solution being found (link here).

I took an old HP Prodesk 600 G1 DM that struggled to run windows years ago and put Fedora 37 on it and it runs like brand new pc its fantastic, it plays movies and retro games in 1080p perfectly, so i filled it with emulators and games and hooked my niece up :)

Emulation on Linux
Personally, I think controller support is better outside of Steam, and so I prefer to install all my emulators from Flathub instead. Here's RetroArch on Flathub, it's an official package and very well maintained.

Retroarch won't run
I think you should open an issue in the flathub / org.libretro.RetroArch repository on GitHub, I think the flatpak version is not directly maintained by the RetroArch team (but I'm not sure).

Packaging cmake projects with vcpkg using flatpak
You should prefer to build from source whenever possible. You can add as many modules as you want, and for most open-source libraries, just pointing to the git repository should be enough, you can easily get them built and installed with minimal configuration. To show how simple it can be, here's a random example of a module for building libpng from source: https://github.com/flathub/org.libretro.RetroArch/blob/master/libpng/libpng-1.6.35.json

Is this a Discover or flatpak bug? Neither?
For example right now Discover says: Firefox Update to version 96.0.1 (stable) however the latest version that just released is 96.0.2 https://flathub.org/apps/details/org.mozilla.firefox RetroArch Update to version 1.9.14 (stable) however the latest version that just released is 1.10.0 https://flathub.org/apps/details/org.libretro.RetroArch
