Inline display custom binary files: would it be possible to create a custom image handler?
Many packages like org-krita/org-yt/org-excalidraw/org-xournalpp allow custom files to be displayed inline by means of a custom link type. However, they don't work when the file is linked as an attachment, which makes me think that there may be a better way to achieve this.

Integrating Drawings into org-mode
I have been looking for a good way to get hand drawn images into my org notes. I use mermaid for generating some flowcharts/images, but sometimes there is no replacement for a physical drawing. The last thread I saw on this was from 2 years ago, and org-mark and org-krita were mentioned, and look good but both have limitations. I was wondering if anyone has made/found other packages to get a hand-drawn image work flow with org?

Embed excalidraw in Emacs?
https://github.com/wdavew/org-excalidraw is close. I discovered you can install Excalidraw from Chrome, and then it is like a local program. That is pretty amazing in itself. org-excalidraw indeed offers an org-link and way to make an excalidraw file from emacs, edited natively in an external excalidraw window. The svg preview does not work though if you use freehand lines in your image, and I was unable to install the npm packages on my Mac for some uninteresting reason related to DNS, but it did work in a node docker image. I find writing in excalidraw less advanced than in tools like Notability or PDFExpert. There are some artifacts in excalidraw from smoothing, or dangling pixels that I don't love. I forgot I had previously used https://github.com/lepisma/org-krita. Krita is a full drawing program, and this integrates into org-mode with image previews nicely. I am not that skilled in using it, and as a full drawing program, it has a learning curve. I wrote https://github.com/jkitchin/scimax/blob/master/scimax-inkscape.el to integrate inkscape into org-mode. It works, but I find inkscape slow to open, and I am not that skilled in using it.

I've found that org-krita https://github.com/lepisma/org-krita works really well after a few tweaks, if you have a tablet.

Neorg – organize your life in Neovim
nvim-orgmode [1] is also available. Knowledge from emacs orgmode should carry over without much issue. I didn't feel like there was a need to reinvent the wheel like neorg does when there were powerful notetaking solutions available; does anyone have a comparison breakdown of features and capabilities?

People who used both neovim orgmode plugin and emacs orgmode, how would you compare them?
Hi, I'm a nvim user for quite a long time already and I don't think I'd switch to Emacs. However I'm curious if I could use Emacs for orgmode, since I'm not always satisfied by orgmode for neovim (still, kudos to the authors for the amazing work!).

Help with nvim orgmode!
This might be an issue with our handling of dynamic prefix. I opened an issue here https://github.com/nvim-orgmode/orgmode/issues/562 to double check.

How do you guys handle tasks that are due another day?
I had this issue as well. I’m on Mac and tried all sorts of task managers to address this. Nothing worked until I started using orgmode. I use a limited version on Neovim. Here is the link.

Tools for productivity
For Notetaking, I use Vimwiki. However there are other out there like obsidian.nvim, telekasten.nvim, neorg, nvim-orgmode, mind.nvim. I wanted something that felt universal, (like supported anywhere) so I moved to basically to markdown based system, since it's supported by github, gitlab, obsidian gui app, etc. I even use it on mobile, there is an obsidian android app.
What are some alternatives?
