Probably. Add their source to your package manager and find out if the tweak is updated to iOS16+. If it’s not, follow the instructions on their github for sideloading it via AltStore.

this is the only whatsapp mod that is updated regularly, i dont think it has the feature that you need but you can give it a try

Now, what I wanted to do is being able to do the same thing for Watusi. Tried a lot of stuff but was not able to get push notifications. First, I thought it was related to Watusi dev deleting the push notifications capability (because its page says that sideloaded watusi wont have push notifications) but I researched a lot and it seems to be caused by how WhatsApp bundles their app.
