Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Etsy Moves from React to Preact
For some reason, this code [1] is still accessible on the public internet! This dates back to CoreOS and the Tectonic (CoreOS's k8s distro) Console. The code needed to be rewritten, I had familiarity with React, and after the nth time Angular 2 broke backwards compatibility in an RC, we went for it.
It was a little different than I remembered. We moved all data into Redux and piped it into the various Angular bits. Then, it was a matter of making the angular-> react bridge (using ngreact) introduced in this PR.

Built a visual tool for generating kubernetes manifests. Need some honest feedback.
Hi all, I built this side project with a friend https://github.com/ctk-hq/ctk. Originally to generate docker compose code. I recently added the kompose cli to generate kubernetes manifests from the DC spec. Its kind of hacky, but it still gives me a starting point with some code to copy and as a quick reference. We are thinking of removing kompose, and going custom from an agnostic composition instead of docker compose first.
