Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

OpenAEDMap - find Automated External Defibrillators in your area
The web app can be added to your home screen in mobile browsers. Everything is open source, the AEDs you see will also be displayed in other OpenStreetMap-based apps such as OsmAnd or Organic Maps (both have offline maps).

OpenAEDMap allows you to find (and add!) AEDs in your area. These devices have proven themselves as life-savers in heart failure - when every second matters. The data is synced to OpenStreetMap database, so it's openly licensed (ODbL) and can also be used in other OSM-based apps. AFAIK, there is no other comparable map - they are either proprietary or show a single country.

Mapping every QMS ad billboard in Sydney with OpenStreetMap
This is a side project I've worked on the last few months - surveying and taking photos of advertising panels popping up in the Sydney CBD. I've surveyed them on OpenStreetMap and linked Mapillary imagery.
