OpenAEDMap - find Automated External Defibrillators in your area
The web app can be added to your home screen in mobile browsers. Everything is open source, the AEDs you see will also be displayed in other OpenStreetMap-based apps such as OsmAnd or Organic Maps (both have offline maps).

Show HN: OpenAEDMap – Automated External Defibrillators from OpenStreetMap
OpenAEDMap allows you to find (and add!) AEDs in your area. These devices have proven themselves as life-savers in heart failure - when every second matters. The data is synced to OpenStreetMap database, so it's openly licensed (ODbL) and can also be used in other OSM-based apps. AFAIK, there is no other comparable map - they are either proprietary or show a single country.

For anyone who wants to search their area for beaches you can go to
https://overpass-turbo.eu/?template=key-value&key=natural&va...
zoom in to the area then click run. For London it seems there is a beach by Embankment tube.

The drinking fountain button is tragically misunderstood
Suuure... where are you in Germany?
https://overpass-turbo.eu , the sample query is already for drinking fountains. I navigated so Berlin is on the map and clicked Run, and it shows me all drinking water fountains on the map. A few of them even have image links, for example: https://imgur.com/d6UheOw

In overpass the query to do is 'craft=brewery'.

With mapbox, this is probably not too hard to create, though I have never worked with mapbox.

Open Infrastructure Map
If you're interested in mapping infrastructure, you may like Overpass Turbo.
It maps all kinds of stuff, selectable via queries, such as water fountains, parking lots, etc. I've always thought it could come in handy during times of emergency, such as if FEMA needed to inform citizens of certain resources in their vicinities.

Example 1] - Defaults to amenity=bottled_water -- Search & select "San Francisco" and click "Run" (Click "Load" for other demo options.)
[Example 2] - Parking lots in SF https://help.openstreetmap.org/questions/67865/overpass-turb...
Example 3] - Go back to the default example of bottled water: click "Load" --> select the "bottled_water" example. Now change [amenity=drinking_water] to ["shop"="butcher"]
[Example 4] - Multiple nodes, as categories of suppliers -- Paste this into the Overpass console: https://pastebin.com/Q4X2YPvj to see nodes where shop=butcher, farm, agrarian, greengrocer

OpenStreetMap can be queried with a regex, so here's places in Wales where the Welsh name is only the top row: https://overpass-turbo.eu/?w=(name:cy~/^[qwertyuiop]*$/i)%20...
There's four: a hamlet named Treopert, a mountain range in Snowdonia named Eryri, a house in Bangor University named after that mountain range, and TUI outdoor shop.
