There's a work in progress with many servers https://github.com/opensubsonic/open-subsonic-api/discussions/23 to improve things and bpm is part of that.

(GitHub - opensubsonic/open-subsonic-api: Repository hosting the definition and discussions of the Open Subsonic API 9) New option to consider tag ratings as user ratings for local device custom tag parser. Added a more actions entry to now playing queue songs menu. Added a force album split on album artist tag for custom tag parser (In addition to folder splitting, only needed with perfect tags and all songs in the same folder). Added a Hide composer only filter to global artist list.

And support Plex, Emby, Jellyfin, Kodi, Subsonic and (OpenSubsonic https://github.com/opensubsonic/open-subsonic-api) so nearly any server choice you make Symfonium probably support it allowing easy test of all the solutions with a constant and modern application.
