  • Nextcloud under WSL2 with Snap, can't access remotely or from other devices on the same network.
    1 project | /r/NextCloud | 19 Feb 2022
For my current attempt I installed a clean instance of Debian, installed Snap, then used this to allow Snap to work. After installing Snap core I installed Nextcloud through Snap. This allows me to connect to Nextcloud by visiting localhost from Windows. This was pretty easy compared to the other methods but I can't for the life of me figure out why I can't seem to access it through other devices on my network, or remotely through port forwarding.
  • How to make bash as default When we open terminal app or Ubuntu app?
    1 project | /r/bashonubuntuonwindows | 2 Nov 2021
Windows terminal settings has an option for setting the default terminal, your Ubuntu might be bugged, I fixed mine permanently (so far, been using for a month without issues) by reinstalling (clean install of ubuntu wsl) and applying the systemd activation script you could try using an elevated powershell then running "wsl --shutdown" then opening a non elevated instance of wsl ubuntu
