[question]Whats the best tool for jailbreaking an iPad mini (2nd gen) on iOS 12.5.7
Use checkra1n if u have a Mac or Linux if u have windows use odysseyn1x if u prefer a semi untethered jb use chimera + ChimeraFix and inject chimerafix deb with sideloadly. I can confirm from experience that these two methods work great and are extremely stable. Also, another jb called Freya but I haven’t used it so I cannot confirm it’s stability. Hope this helps, reply if you need any help

[HELP] [Checkn1x] I used Rufus but when boot from pc only this on screen
Use odysseyn1x, it's more updated, and provides that option in addition to regular checkra1n and Sandcastle. https://github.com/raspberryenvoie/odysseyn1x

[Question] Jailbreaking Apple TV 4 on tvOS 13.4.8
I used the latest ISO image of odysseyn1x and from there used checkra1n to jailbreak my ATV via USB-C cable. The jailbreak finishes without reporting any error and reboots my device.

installing a different distro through ubuntu
Isn't odysseyra1n something for iPhone? Anyways, i checked the github for something called odysseyn1x which seems to contain odysseyra1n. I see there's an iso for amd64. You would download that an load the ISO to a flashdrive using something like BalenaEtcher to accomplish this. However, doing it from the live environment might not work due to storage limitation(i think) during the live environment. Do you not have another computer where you can flash this?

[question] iphone 6s running ios 14 what jailbreak should i get?
There are bootable distros you can use that combo odysseyra1n and checkra1n on one USB: https://github.com/raspberryenvoie/odysseyn1x
- [Question] Has uncover supported IOS 14.6 on iPhone 7 yet?
-
[Question] I recently got an Iphone X running 14.6, was thinking of jailbreaking it but dont know which method or jailbreak would works best.
You need a live USB to use Checkra1n and install Odysseyra1n. You can create one with the Odysseyn1x distro. Install it on the USB stick with Rufus, boot from this USB stick, jailbreak with Checkra1n and install Odysseyra1n.
-
[Request] I need free Cydia download still. I don’t have a mac!
If you're talking about checkra1n, you can make a live bootable Linux USB with either checkn1x or odysseyn1x. Otherwise, we would need to know what iOS version you're on to help you further.

AltStore PAL, the first alternative app marketplace on iPhone, is available now
> I have not seen anything that the release on the App Store was held up by apple and that this wasn't just instead an simultaneous release on both platforms by the developer.
See this commit from 3 years ago[1]! On Delta's Repo:
> Delta was originally developed under the impression Apple would allow it into the App Store. Unfortunately Apple later changed their minds, leaving me no choice but to find a new way to distribute Delta. Long story short, this led me to create AltStore, which now serves as the official way to install Delta onto your device.
The main reason why you “have not seen anything that the release on the App Store was held up by apple” is that because you did not want to see it!
> Yes Apple did not previously allow this until they changed their policy recently to allow emulation (which I think was about a month ago).
And guess why their changed their policy? Because of DMA put them in an untenable posture.
> This does not change the fact that the developer is choosing to put the app on the App Store everywhere except for the EU, and in the EU you have to use their store.
That's a genuine “fuck you Apple” move, which is understandable given how much “fuck you Delta” Apple gave them before, but it's also a bit of a problem. But here again this is 100% on Apple! They can 100% ban this kind of things by adding a policy to the app store that says “If you want to distribute on the App store outside of the EU, you have to provide your software on the app store in the EU as well” even if that doesn't prevent the release on an alternative store. The main reason why they don't do that, is because it would ruin their FUD about this exact situation.
You are being manipulated by a trillion dollar company, that not only hate your individual freedom, but also wants to make sure you hate it yourself so you never ask for it. And unfortunately that propaganda keeps proving highly effective…

Apple Removes Game Boy Emulator iGBA from App Store Due to Copyright Violations
Seems like this was just an (unlicensed) "fork", with the only addition being obtrusive ads.
The copyright situation here seems a bit confusing, though: At least for Delta, a multi-console emulator by the same author, there's a notice that the author "has no choice but to distribute Delta under the AGPLv3 license" (due to the emulator cores being licensed as that) [1].
The license note goes on to say "unless you plan to submit your app to Apple’s App Store, in which case written permission from me is explicitly required".
This sounds like an additional restriction incompatible with at least the GPL-sourced emulator cores included.

Help compiling/installing Delta with Xcode and Apple Developer Program
I've been trying to download, compile, and install Delta onto my iPhone through Xcode, and I've been having a lot of trouble. I've followed the "Compilation Instructions" on the Delta GitHub page!. I paid for the Apple Developer Program. I installed (and learned about) Git and Git LFS. I'm able to follow the Compilation Instructions perfectly until the last step, "Build + run app! 🎉"

[question] I would like to jailbreak my old iPhone SE, its current software version is 13.2, I would like to turn it into an emulator, but I'm having trouble doing so, Any help or info I would greatly appreciate
it will now do some stuff, and cydia will appear. Now, open cydia, and upgrade all packages. Now go to sources, tap edit, and add cydia.akemi.ai as a source. When it loads, go to search, and install appsync unfied. Install it. Now look for filza file manager. Install it as well. Now download (in my case, delta emulator) https://github.com/rileytestut/Delta/releases/download/v1.4/Delta_1_4.ipa
