Use checkra1n if u have a Mac or Linux if u have windows use odysseyn1x if u prefer a semi untethered jb use chimera + ChimeraFix and inject chimerafix deb with sideloadly. I can confirm from experience that these two methods work great and are extremely stable. Also, another jb called Freya but I haven’t used it so I cannot confirm it’s stability. I used the latest ISO image of odysseyn1x and from there used checkra1n to jailbreak my ATV via USB-C cable. The jailbreak finishes without reporting any error and reboots my device.

Isn't odysseyra1n something for iPhone? Anyways, i checked the github for something called odysseyn1x which seems to contain odysseyra1n. I see there's an iso for amd64. You would download that an load the ISO to a flashdrive using something like BalenaEtcher to accomplish this. However, doing it from the live environment might not work due to storage limitation(i think) during the live environment. Do you not have another computer where you can flash this?

You need a live USB to use Checkra1n and install Odysseyra1n. You can create one with the Odysseyn1x distro. Install it on the USB stick with Rufus, boot from this USB stick, jailbreak with Checkra1n and install Odysseyra1n.

If you're talking about checkra1n, you can make a live bootable Linux USB with either checkn1x or odysseyn1x. Otherwise, we would need to know what iOS version you're on to help you further.

Freya Jailbreak has been available for a while now. It is the only iOS 11-12 open sourced jailbreak. I figured anyone who would like the truth about jailbreaks availability, won't get this from discords r/jb channel. So for those who'd like to jailbreak their iOS 11-12.x.x device. There's a jailbreak no one talks about on discord named freya. It's truly 1 of a kind. Don't listen to anyone who lies about freya jailbreak. Since they have no jailbreaks of their own. Their blatantly lying to everyone if they think they know anything about Freya 's jailbreak code. Comments that it's a fork or copy of chimera is hilariously idiotic. Since there's no open source code for iOS 12 jailbreaks anywhere! Except my own. Either way, freya can be used to jailbreak devices between iOS 11.0 through iOS 12.5.7 or 12.x.x. Any Apple update hasn't stopped freya from liberating your device. It continues to work without the need of updating the jailbreak code. If you like to download freya and install it. I have an Ipad Air 1st gen that I've inherited a couple of days ago and I want to jailbreak it. Unc0ver and Chimera don't work because they both don't support iOS 12.5.6. Is Freya (https://github.com/pwned4ever/Th0r_Freya) a safe alternative?
