obsidian-switcher-plus VS cMenu-Plugin

In general I recommend using QuickSwitcher++ to perform any command. Set cmd/ctrl + p to QuickSwitcher++: Open in Commands Mode. The cool thing is that this commands mode view displays your recently used commands. This commands history is preserved until you close Obsidian.

Quick Switcher++ is a very helpful tool, it allows you to search for open editors by typing a special prefix (edt by default) in the quick switcher. But I think it’s still not very intuitive, I want the “search any file and open it” action and “search for existing open file and activate it” to be combined into one thing to use.

Quick Switcher++ will do that for you.

You’re welcome! Check out this plugin as well. It hasn’t been added to the official plugins list within the app so downloading it might be a bit more challenging. In this case you could turn the plugin that inspired it but unfortunately seems to be no longer maintained: link

You could go to options -> core plugins and enable the "Slash commands" plugin. There's also this community plugin that adds a text editor modal.

There are some plugins like cmenu to add some click-based formatting, or customizable menu that can add them into right-click menus.

Have you tried the cMenu plugin?

Templater lets you insert templates with custom keyboard shortcuts. CMenu adds a small menu at the bottom of the screen that you can fill with any command in Obsidian, including custom ones added by Templater.

I think there's no toolbar, only WYSIWYG. There are plugins that help with this, like: Markdown Formatting Assitant and CMenu. i know that a plugin doesn't solve the issue, there's a post in the Obsidian Forum talking about this.
