Best Way To Manage Tasks & Reminders in Obsidian?
Hey - i have built something similar for myself and it works well. You will need a few plugins: - the Tasks plugin - Templater - Reminder
-
Do iOS (iPhone) system reminder notifications work with the Reminder community plugin?
I found the answer in the uphy/obsidian-reminder FAQ of all places. Should have looked there first.
- Adding tasks quickly on iOS

Can anyone enlighten me why there's no "to-do" app like Obsidian?
I use the Obsidian TODO plugin in combination with the Reminders plugin.
-

-
Is there a way to manage deadlines in Obsidian other than using a tag like #deadline?
In addition to the other task, to-do, and calendar plug-ins, you might find the Reminder plug-in helpful. I haven't tried it, but I read on another thread that when you @ a task, it reminds you at that date and time.

Unpopular opinion: Obsidian is an excellent Task Manager ( + my setup )
Obsidian has a Reminders plugin too in case it can be helpful.

Which plugins should be included in future versions as standard?
My choices would be... - Dataview - of course! It's about time. If any plugin epitomises the power of Obsidian and makes it stand out from all the other tools my vote would be this plugin. - Nature Language Dates - I use dates all the time (no pun intended) and this is really handy if you work with dates all the time. - Tag Wrangler - I use the PARA structure for my folders (thanks Tiago Forte) but multi-level tags for everything else and they need maintenance from time to time, such as renaming and this plugin makes that easy. - Obsidian Todo Plugin - this plug isn't imaginatively named and so awkward to find (hence this link to it - https://github.com/larslockefeer/Obsidian-plugin-todo) but its killer super power is it aggregating all those pesky tasks ( [ ] —) from all over your vault.
