Is there a way to add timestamps to each bullet point (block) automatically?

You could use QuickAdd plugin to add an entry with timestamp to your daily note. With this, you can add an entry from anywhere in the obsidian. Combine this with Customised Sidebar plugin, you can have a button on the sidebar for it.

In general I recommend using QuickSwitcher++ to perform any command. Set cmd/ctrl + p to QuickSwitcher++: Open in Commands Mode. The cool thing is that this commands mode view displays your recently used commands. This commands history is preserved until you close Obsidian.

Quick Switcher++ is a very helpful tool, it allows you to search for open editors by typing a special prefix (edt by default) in the quick switcher. But I think it’s still not very intuitive, I want the “search any file and open it” action and “search for existing open file and activate it” to be combined into one thing to use.
