Discussion Thread: 2022 Midterm General Election, Part 6
I haven't been able to find a similar resource for this year's election, but you're referencing this: https://alex.github.io/nyt-2020-election-scraper/battleground-state-changes.html

Those diabolical democrats.
Fourth, Take a look at this website, it tracked all of the votes coming in for all the states. https://alex.github.io/nyt-2020-election-scraper/battleground-state-changes.html Alaska even took until two weeks after the election to finish their votes.

More than 500 Georgia Republicans urge Kemp to pursue forensic audit of 2020 election
Georgia was called for Biden on Friday: Biden first captured the lead Friday early morning. It was later called for him several hours later. By practically every single news network, including Fox.

Flat Data
This is a really powerful use-case! If you saw Alex Gaynor's election tracker[1] during the US 2020 elections, it's exactly how it worked. Actions scraped the NYT election results.json, and a static site on GH pages rendered the data, XHRing the scraped JSON out of the repo periodically.
There's no GraphQL backend yet! We've only done HTTP and SQL backends so far. If your GQL query is simple enough, you might be able to squeak by with an HTTP flat action whose target is https://your.site/graphql?query=whatever ?

ARK Invest API
Nice start. Another project recently opened my eyes around the election and results. Where it has “output files” directly in GitHub. Would be cool to have something run daily that populates some output files with info for others to view directly in GitHub, but also show the power or the API. Here is the Election Results example: https://github.com/alex/nyt-2020-election-scraper

Georgia Senate Election Results Official Live
I can’t find any scrapers for this election. The general https://github.com/alex/nyt-2020-election-scraper/blob/master/battleground-state-changes.txt was a constant refresh for me.

Help to choose a college! RPI is one of my choices!
RPI has a solid MechE program, I would suggest to start looking around for what school can help you out more on becoming an acoustics engineer. Look at the MECL template and search the catalog for acoustics classes. Do note that some semesters or years may not have a class listed due to nobody teaching it (you can also check classes on QUACS, but that is more for scheduling and availability). Ultimately it really depends on you doing what you want to do with the resources available.

courses selection- freshman
First, you will want to get familiar with QuACS, which is a course schedule builder used by most students (fun fact, it was actually built by students). When it becomes time to register, you will do so on SIS Also, the website for your advising hub has a lot of important info. You can schedule a meeting with your advisor online. There is also a schedule of webinars where you will get a lot of the info you are looking for. Try to attend as many as you can.

Recent photo of BARH
The triple suites are pretty nice imo, I don’t have any pictures but from what I remember in 2020 (my ex’s room was a triple, he got it to himself) the side with double beds was a bit smaller than the other rooms bc a normal BARH double is 216 sq ft and the triple has about 142 sq ft in each room. How his was set up was 2 beds in one, one bed in the other with all the wardrobes in a line. The bathroom was in between and has a tub and a shower but nothing to plug the drain. Also, bring a water filter bc the water will be yellow for the first couple weeks even after going through a brita. At the smallest part in the room with the doubles there was like 4 ft to walk from what I remember. There’s other open areas too like to put trash or other storage. The single bed has a LOT of room. We fit at least 10 people hanging out in there. Here’s a link to the blueprints and you can find the sizes of the furniture on the SLL site. https://github.com/quacs/quacs-data/tree/master/floor_plans

Housing panic? (urgent)
All the rooms in the Quad are different size, not 88 sq ft. Find your specific room on the floor plan. It might be bigger. https://github.com/quacs/quacs-data/tree/master/floor_plans If you are on the top floor realize that you will be living in what is basically the attic, with roof lines cutting into head space, making a small room feel smaller.
